Invisalign in Auckland
The clear alternative to braces
Invisalign® is a revolutionary method for teeth straightening, introduced to New Zealand in 2005. Teeth straightening by Invisalign® is performed using a transparent, virtually invisible aligner fitter over the teeth. It thus provides the most subtle method for teeth straightening. To learn more about Invisalign braces and discover the price of Invisalign in Auckland, feel free to consult one of our expert dentists or make an appointment at Dental Today.
There are many of us who would love to have teeth straightened or unsightly gaps dealt with but are reluctant, as adults, to put up with very visible braces. A 9-years experienced Invisalign dentist now offers you the option of having straightening treatment done in a way which is almost unnoticeable as you go about your daily life.
Come in for a consultation with our expert Invisalign® dental surgeon! He will examine your teeth, discuss all your options and develop a computer model of your treatment. Regardless if you need the best dentists specialised in Invisalign One Tree Hill has to offer or the most experienced surgeon in Epsom, you will find that our services will meet all your expectations!
How does it work ?
Using the latest advances in 3-D computer technology, a series of custom made removable mouth trays (aligners) are created. These aligners apply a controlled amount of force to your teeth, causing them to gradually move. Each aligner is slightly different, ushering your teeth into the desired position. Generally each aligner fulfils its purpose in around 2 weeks.
Invisalign® is completely removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment and this also means brushing and flossing are not a problem. With no metal or sharp edges, Invisalign® is comfortable to wear and doesn’t cause allergies.
How long will Invisalign® take to work?
Invisalign® only works while you wear the aligners. We recommend they are worn full time day and night (min 22–24 hours).
Most courses of treatment last between 9 – 15 months, depending on the issues being dealt with. Once you’ve had your consultation, your surgeon will be able to give you far more accurate assessment of how long he or she would expect the course to be.
The convenience and ease of use of Invisalign® have made it the choice of over half a million people, all of whom are celebrating amazing new smiles.
